A Tradition of Giving
Since August 10, 1900, the Missionary Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus have been blessed with persons who have supported their mission and lives. These relationships have flourished spiritually toward their common goal of making God’s love present to everyone. The MSC sisters recognize and honor these relationships through their creation of the MSC Heart of God Society. This Society provides a vehicle for our mission partners to make automatic, consistent donations on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Our Mission
The Heart of God Society recognizes the inspired generosity of families and individuals who share what they can in order to change lives through the mission work of the MSC Sisters and to support the Sisters throughout their retirement years. In this second century of MSC service, the Society recognizes those who believe that their support of the MSC mission to be God’s Heart in the world really does make a difference. The Society honors generations of families who have lived among us and worked with us. The Society honors generations to come who will accept the challenge to partner with us into the future, as we continue to respond to the needs of a broken and changing world.
Hearts Aflame
The Heart of God Society is made up of men and women who are “on fire” with the desire to share God’s compassionate love; to go beyond themselves to places and peoples most in need. Members recognize that they can do so through their partnership with the Missionary Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. MSC Sisters offer the following benefits for you, our partner in mission:
Patrons: those donating monthly/quarterly totaling $120 - $600 per year
- Mailed an annual gift summary for tax purposes each January
- Recognized in an annual publication as Society Members
- Included in the Sisters’ prayer intention Book of Society Members placed in the sisters’ chapel
- Invited to forward your special intentions to the sisters at any time
- Invited to our bi-annual Benefactors’ Event
