Sr. Lisa Valentini, MSC
Sr. Lisa continue organizing mission trips to the Dominican Republic town of El Factor. Aside from a two-year hiatus due to the Covid pandemic, she has invited hundreds of American teenagers and adults to join her for Mission Experiences and For many of the people who participate, their lives are forever changed.
By day, the mission partners complete various tasks aimed at helping the community thrive, and they offer Christ centered arts and crafts activities for hundreds of children including those who attend the local special needs school.
By evening, Sr. Lisa provides a time of prayer and reflection in addition to the celebration of the Mass. Students and adults alike find the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus so alive and well among the poor.
Sr. Lisa Valentini’s mission trips encourage missionaries to serve others, to open their hearts to another culture, and to be transformed so that they, too, may strive to be the Heart of God on earth.
